Banding Together 2019

I’m happy to be participating again this year in Banding Together, an annual benefit run by Lazlo of BlowUpRadio.com for the Spondylitis Association of America. It gives me great pleasure to be part of this fundraising effort and to donate my time and music to this cause.

If you donate $10 or more, you’ll receive a code to download an exclusive compilation album that contains a brand new recording of my original song, “Until You Let Me In.”

Here’s the link to donate: https://www.spondylitis.org/webathon

I’ll also be performing on the live webathon, which will be taking place all weekend long – Friday, October 18th through Sunday, October 20th. You can catch me on Sunday at 6:40pm live on blowupradio.com.

Banding Together 2015

I’m happy to announce that I’ll be performing as part of Banding Together, a webathon to benefit the Spondylitis Association of America. October 16-19th.

This year marks my fourth year of playing this webathon as a solo acoustic artist.

Lazlo is the man behind this benefit. He is someone who works tirelessly in service of independent artists. His internet radio station Blowupradio is one of the longest-running stations on the web. Long before you could stream Pandora on your iPhone, long before iPhones even existed, you could stream his radio station over the Internet.

This benefit is a personal one for him, as his wife suffers from Ankylosing Spondylitis. In his spirit of giving, Lazlo will be giving a ton of his time and all donations to the Spondylitis Association of America.

How do you donate?
Throughout the webathon there will be a link on blowupradio.com to donate to the SAA.

What do you get for donating?
Besides the release of positive endorphins from donating to a worthy cause? Everyone who donates will receive a compilation album to download. It includes special tracks from artists performing during the webathon. I’m adding a live performance of my song “A New Start” to this compilation. It will not be available anywhere else. The recording was captured this past year at Espresso Joe’s coffee house during one of Lazlo’s Guitar Pull events.

What else do you need to know?
More posts about this will be forthcoming. In the meantime, feel free to stream and download my performances from the three previous years.

Banding Together: A Benefit For The Spondylitis Association of America

October 19th-21st

I’ll be playing a live solo set for a benefit show in October. Over 60 bands are signed up to perform live for a webathon to raise money for The Spondylitis Association of America.

This is the first time I’ve performed solo in quite some time. Just me and a guitar. I hope that you’ll consider listening to the webathon and donating to the Spondylitis Association of America.

Here is the Official Press Release for the online event:

The Spondylitis Association Of America (SAA) is a non-profit organization that was the first and remains the largest resource for people affected by spondylitis. Through their efforts, they help advance education, research and treatment for ankylosing spondylitis (AS) and related diseases. More than 85,000 people per month visit SAA’s interactive website to access over 1,700 pages of up-to-date content for information and support. For more than 25 years’ SAA has dedicated all of its resources to help improve the lives of people coping with spondylitis.

“This is a very personal benefit for me as my wife, Naomi, suffers from ankylosing spondylitis (AS).”, says Lazlo, “I have seen the debilitating effects of this disease and the chronic pain and discomfort it causes. This benefit is the least I can do to help my wife, and over a million others who suffer from AS.”

The benefit runs from 12noon Friday October 19th until Sunday night October 21st. It will be broadcast on http://www.BlowupRadio.com

The complete schedule will be announced in early October.
