Two weekends ago, Ardith, Kristy, and I played under the gazebo for an attentive audience in Wharton, NJ.
Here’s Ardith making notes on our setlist… an analog equivalent of a “Save As” of our setlist last August.
Here’s the setlist from last week’s show with Shayfer James at Rockwood Music Hall. You’ll notice that the setlist is sitting on top of an old Rogers snare drum that is part of the house drum kit at Stage 1. Such a nice kit! Join us this Tuesday for the next performance.

It was a rainy, rainy night in Hoboken, NJ. It set the stage nicely for my acoustic set.
Here’s the empty stage before I started playing.
Lots of shows coming up in April, including a performance with double-breasted and a residency with Shayfer James. Pop over to my Performances page to learn more!
I must admit, I was a bit nervous about having only about a week to learn an entire set’s worth of material. But I’m happy to say that Monday’s gig at Rockwood Music Hall Stage 2 was pretty great.
First, the crew lowered the piano from the ceiling. Then we took the stage. Here we are. Shayfer, Josh, Jeremy.
Here’s the setlist/whiskey.
Overall, a successful night.
If you haven’t yet, please go check out Shayfer’s music over at www.shayferjames.com.
What a great night at Northern Soul! A very special thanks to those who attended. It had been awhile since my last solo acoustic show and it felt so great to have your support. You are awesome.
Here’s the setlist:
And here’s a short clip of the first verse from “If You Stay.”
Remember, you can still download my live acoustic record, Banding Together 2013, which was named #5 Live Album of 2013 by blowupradio.com.

After playing HarvestFest with Hey Tiger earlier in the day, I made my way to Hoboken to perform with Adam McDonough. We celebrated the release of his new record, Coast to Coast. What a fantastic celebration!
Christina Alessi opened the night.
Then we rocked out. Thank you Christina for this photo!
Here’s the setlist.
My drum corner.
And believe it or not, there was cake!
Great party and all-around fun gig. Glad to have been a part of it.
PS – Be sure to go to iTunes and download your copy of Adam’s record Coast to Coast today!
Well, actually I have a pretty nice little Saturday planned…
Saturday was a beautiful day to play an outdoor show. Hey Tiger performed at Bloomfield’s HarvestFest. It was great to play with them again after not having played since June. The sound system was really great, the crowd was attentive, and we learned what a tornado potato is.
Here is our setlist.
Then Christina and I discovered the awesome power of a tornado potato + fresh lemonade.
Good times.
