Woo hoo!! Hey Tiger’s been nominated for two Hoboken Music Awards: Outstanding Band and Outstanding EP (for Morning Light). Check out the awards website here.

Weekend Recap

What a busy (and musical) weekend.
Friday, I played with double-breasted for a private event in the Montclair Art Museum in Montclair, NJ.

Saturday, I played with Hey Tiger at the Bloomfield HarvestFest in Bloomfield, NJ.

I loved watching this guy bust a move!

Then on Sunday, I got together with double-breasted to begin shooting a new music video for our song, “You Never Said Goodbye.” Here are some pictures I took as we shot the video. The “it could rain any second” weather on Sunday really lent itself quite well to the ominous mood of the song and video.

Hey Tiger: WDHA 105.5

I took a trip out to Cedar Knolls, NJ last week to visit the WDHA FM studios with Hey Tiger. We did an interview and live video performance for Lindsay Klein’s new blog spotlighting NJ original music. The interview and performance should be posted in a few weeks. In the meantime, here’s a photo of us with Lindsay:

Recording with double-breasted

double-breasted is currently in the studio working on our next collection of songs. Here’s a sneak peak into live-tracking the drums via a video taken with my iPhone. Kristy and Ardith are in an isolation room with the harp and cello, so all you can hear are the drums. You’ll just have to wait for the full recording to hear everything together. Enjoy.
