Photos from Songwriters Collaborative

What a great night at Northern Soul in Hoboken, NJ! I had a fantastic time with fellow songwriters Christina Alessi, Jon Andrew, and Adam McDonough. It was so great to collaborate on each others’ songs. We threw in some awesome cover songs for good measure.

View from the stage. The place was packed!

Guitar Pull Air Dates

I spent a Sunday afternoon at blowupradio.com HQ participating in a songwriters’ collaboration known as a Guitar Pull. Keith Beck, J Orellana, and I traded songs, talked about the songwriting process, and made comments about Wonder Woman. Lazlo hosted the show and it will air three times this month, starting tomorrow. I hope you get a chance to listen to it!

New Song – “You Are the One”

Introducing a new original song, “You Are the One.” Enjoy!

Lyrics:

If I could get another try
Paint a second coat
Cover up the gaps I left the first time

Maybe you’d be happy
And find out what that means
And this would all be so much easier

You are the one
You are the one
You are the one
I need

If I could get my mind together
Write it in a book
Spell out all these thoughts I’ve kept inside

Maybe you’d relate again
And you’d read everything
And this would all be so much easier

You are the one
You are the one
You are the one
I need

If I could get you back again
I’d change everything
Give you something you have never seen

I don’t know where this takes us
I’m not sure if it ends
I only know I’m never going back to who I’ve been

You are the one
You are the one
You are the one
I need

You are the one
You are the one
You are the one
For me

Live from My Dining Room

In case you missed the broadcast last weekend… I’m releasing my entire performance from the Spondylitis Association Benefit Webathon as a digital album.

Live from My Dining Room

Live from My Dining Room was recorded live in front of a not-so-captive audience of my two cats. The recording is purposely quiet, intimate, and raw.

No auto-tune. No overdubs. No editing. Just my voice, guitar, and whatever other sounds occured during the performance. The recording features eight original songs in their simplist form.
