The Sting Engagement – Monday, August 12th

On Monday, August 12th more than 40 local musicians will pay tribute to the music of Sting and the Police at a beautiful setting on Hoboken’s waterfront. New York City will be the backdrop for over two hours of music.

I’m excited to be playing drums on five songs – “Englishman in New York,” “Shape of My Heart,” “All This Time,” “Fields of Gold,” and “It’s Probably Me.”

Each song features a line up of different musicians and singers. My bandmates from Christina Alessi and the Toll Collectors – Sean-David Cunningham, Jonathan Andrew, and Maribyrd – will all be participating as well!

Hope to see you there!

Here are some photos from previous years, when we paid tribute to David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, and Simon and Garfunkel. And here’s a great write-up in HMAG about the event this year.
